This cigar has no business being this good for this amount of money! Smoked this at a barbecue followed by a Davidoff 702 2000, and this held up and was possibly even better in some ways. This will now be a regular in my humidor!

I never go for Connecticut as I am not a huge fan. I purchased the Southern Draw sampler, including the Rose of Sharon. Really nice: beautiful enticing smell to the wrapper at the pre-light. The cold draw was standard, but the lightup and smoke was pretty fantastic. Great smoke output - tons of smoke. Nice even burn once it got going. Nice white ash that holds well (I tapped it off by the inch as there was an occasional breeze, and I was dressed smart!). White pepper throughout and thankfully not too stingy on the retrohale. Creamy and buttery with a walnut flavour left in the mouth. Really quite exceptional as it gets halfway. Very satisfying and a Connecticut I would definitely purchase again. Don't sleep on the current discounted price!!
